The Drowned Forest, Theewaterskloof Dam, Villiersdorp, Western Cape, South Africa

Three months ago I stood at this same spot with water rippling at my feet. Now the shoreline is 50 meters further in.
Yet, even in this dire state this dam is still true to it’s photogenic character.
A beautiful landscape – wet or dry.
