This monastery is named Roussanou. It became a convent in 1988 and has 15 resident nuns at present.

This monastery goes back to 1288 (proven date) and has seen destruction, plunders and pillages during the Turkish invasion and again during the Two World Wars. It was restored after the Second World War to it’s current state.
